July 4, 1926: almost a century has passed since the day a dream was born in Borgo Panigale, on the outskirts of Bologna, a dream that would forever change the world of motorcycling, and in 2026 Ducati will cross the threshold of its centenary of history.

From its Bolognese roots to its global recognition, Ducati has transformed passion into excellence, technology into emotion, design into beauty and engineering into art, and as 2026 approaches, Ducati officially launches its Centenary celebrations by unveiling a specific logo and announcing a celebration during World Ducati Week, from July 3 to 5 at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”.

This heritage and, above all, this history, now find symbolic expression in a logo that tells the story of a century's journey, conceived as a bridge between the past and the future and intended to accompany Ducati until July 4, 2026. A symbol born in the very heart of Ducati, in Borgo Panigale, through a creative process guided at every stage, from the initial research to the final design, by those who live and breathe the brand on a daily basis and by that feeling of belonging which unites all the people who are part of it.

Every detail of the logo tells the story of Ducati. Let's start with the name itself, unchanged to preserve the brand's strength and timeless identity. Then comes the number 100, the central element of the design, drawn in the same typeface that marks every Ducati motorcycle. A line runs through it and reveals its soul: the curve, the same one that runs through the Ducati crest. It's the thrill of leaning over it, unique and intense. It's the curve that connects the past to the present and then opens onto the future, towards a new panorama to experience in the saddle, alone, with someone special, or together with other Ducatisti.

Beneath the date 1926–2026 flies the Italian tricolour flag, celebrating Ducati's Italian roots and its unbreakable link with Borgo Panigale, the place where it all began and where, even today, the motorcycles that fuel the dreams of Ducatisti of all generations are created.

The slogan "A Century Made of Seconds" It enriches the logo and amplifies its meaning. It's a tribute to Ducati's sporting DNA: a tribute to the circuits, to competition, to lap times, and to the small details that make the difference. But it also points to something deeper: the ability to recognize, in every shared moment – on the track, on the road, within the company, or across the world – the extraordinary force that makes Ducati truly unique.

The epicenter of the celebrations will be the World Ducati Week 2026which will take place from July 3 to 5 at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. On Saturday, July 4, exactly 100 years after that first day, the global Ducati family will come together to celebrate a century of history at a WDW that, like no other, will embody the power of a passion without borders.

It seems inconceivable not to mark the occasion with a special livery in MotoGP for Marc Marquez et Francis Bagnaia, but this date of July 4th does not fit well into a calendar which includes two Grand Prix in Italy whose dates only remotely frame the announced festivities: May 31st for Mugello, September 13th for Misano.
So, if you were in the position of the leaders of Borgo Panigale, what would you do?

In the coming weeks, Ducati will share new details about a World Ducati Week that promises to be unforgettable for all who attend. All the latest news and updates about the event will be available in the dedicated section of the official Ducati website.
