The FIM Endurance World Championship returns to the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans for the 47th edition of the 24H Motorcycles. During the first sessions of the weekend, Yart-Yamaha and Yoshimura SERT Motul competed for the top spot. However, it is this Saturday that things count, since the start of the race will be given at the beginning of the afternoon.
As a reminder, three categories are entered in the 24 Heures Motos. Thus 31 crews will run the premier category, Formula EWC. While 15 and 2 machines will take to the track in the Superstock and Experimental categories.
In EWC, the 47th edition of the 24H Motos saw two qualifying sessions which were, to say the least, contested, which marked the fight for the front positions between two crews which particularly distinguished themselves. If the No. 1 of YART-Yamaha ended up taking pole position, ahead of the No. 12 of Yoshimura SERT Motul, we must not exclude the competitors of its two protagonists: the event promises to be long and unpredictable.
The first machine in the Superstock category will start the event from ninth place on the starting grid. The No. 55 will, however, have to count on the presence of its weekend rivals from the first laps, since the men of Tecmas MRP BMW will not be very far away (11th).
The Metiss-JBB team, largely dominant in the Experimental category, will place machine no. 45 on the 25th position before the lights go out, while you have to take a look at the 25th line in the table to find the Rosso Bordeaux team, entered aboard number 3.
Note that it will be interesting to follow Team Étoile (BMW M1000RR n°25), qualified in 17th position. Japanese training betting part of its race on the intervention of artificial intelligence.
