They declared…

Michael van der Mark – BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team n°37

“From day one, we were fast in all conditions. Today in the race, we knew we had the pace, but Spa is still Spa with this tricky weather. Despite that, the team made the right decisions. Steven and Markus drove at the right pace at the right time and without taking any unnecessary risks. So I’m incredibly happy for the team after all the bad luck they’ve had in the past, and winning here at home feels special.”

Markus Reiterberger – BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team n°37

“Our second victory at Spa: first in the 24-hour race, now in the 8-hour race. The team and BMW have built a fantastic bike. We arrived here and were incredibly fast right from the start, regardless of the conditions. But we weren't just strong on the track; we were also excellent off it. That's why I'm very grateful to the whole team, BMW, and everyone who contributed to this success.”

Steven Odendaal – BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team n°37

“First and foremost, we won together. I felt a huge weight lifted off our shoulders, because we went through a really difficult period at BMW, especially after the last two races. And now, finally winning, is something unique and incredible. I think we deserve this victory because we all put in the necessary effort, and to achieve it here, on the team's home circuit, is fantastic.”
