Launched in 2022 by the French Motorcycling Federation (FFM) to structure the French asphalt training sector and encourage the emergence of young talents on the international scene, the "Generation Speed" program will take a further step in 2026 with numerous developments aimed at making the Championships more accessible to drivers. These are part of a desire to reduce costs and provide a coherent and clear structure for the training path for young people towards the top level.

Integrated into Superbike, the Objectif Grand Prix by Motul (OGP) French Championship represents the top of the pyramid and the last step before accessing international competitions. This cycle of events is positioned at the heart of the speed sector in that it must represent the level of excellence of our young riders; where the best come together to create generational emulation and offer the best preparation for theEuropean Talent Cup (ETC).

Currently composed of two categories: Honda NSF 250 and Pre Moto 3, the Championship will undergo a fundamental change in 2026 with a single category reserved for Honda NSF 250R. The Pre Moto 3 category is eliminated, the FFM intends to perfect the dynamics of the Championship. In parallel and with the support of Honda France, riders entered for the year will benefit from preferential pricing conditions for the purchase of a new motorcycle, an engine or even maintenance parts kits (chassis and engine) subject to placing an order before October 31, 2025 for the 2026 season.

Honda France will host a training day to educate and support the riders' technicians on engine, chassis, and electronics. A winter testing day will also be offered to year-round entrants in this category. Finally, Honda France will provide technical support during the first event of the season.

Through this major development and with the support of Honda France, the FFM is strengthening its ambition to facilitate the technical transition to the European cycle of the European Talent Cup, like the partnership with Pirelli, the sole tire supplier in OGP and ETC.

In this same desire to reduce costs for riders, discussions are underway with the companies Beon for the French Moto 4 Championship and Ohvale for the French Mini OGP by Motul Championships, categories 115 and 160.

Frédéric Puybareaud, Director of the Honda Moto France Division: « Thanks to this format, each driver will have the same chance of success, and the gaps will be based on talent, consistency, and commitment on the track. It is also an opportunity to unite a true community around a single brand, while providing a clear and attractive framework for young drivers and the public alike. We believe that this new direction will give new impetus to the Championship, consolidating its image and encouraging the emergence of future talents in French motorcycling. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the FFM for its support and involvement in the implementation of this project. »

Sébastien Poirier, President of the French Motorcycling Federation: "The success of our "Generation Vitesse" program lies in our ability to welcome numerous drivers. In order to support families in their sporting project, it seemed essential to us to work with manufacturers to work together on this issue. For the Objectif Grand Prix by Motul French Championship, the merger with Honda was an obvious choice and strengthens our ambition to facilitate the technical transition to the European cycle of the European Talent Cup. I would like to warmly thank Honda France for their investment in this project."
