For the first time, Albon and Sainz's FW48 will sport a livery chosen by the public. The team founded by Sir Frank refuses to look to the future without those who have always carried it: its fans. At the end of 2025, the team is launching a global vote that will allow fans to choose the livery that Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon will drive for the very first time during the 2026 winter testing.
A simple approach in principle, but immense in its symbolism: to make the F1 to those who make it vibrate. Six liveries, one shared pride: blue. WilliamsSix designs are offered, all centered around the brand's iconic blues.
Three of them already sport the new logo, inspired by the "advanced W" so dear to Sir Frank, the one that adorned the nine world championship-winning cars. This choice is not insignificant. It resembles a declaration of love for their roots, an outstretched hand between heritage and rebirth.
Voting is open from December 9th to 16th on williamsf1.com The results will be revealed during the winter tests. The dates are as follows: Barcelona: January 26–30, 2026 and Bahrain: February 11–13 and February 18–20.
Williams However, this is not a newcomer to participatory democracy. In 2023, fans voted for the "Bolder than Bold" livery. In 2025, the "Driven By Words" campaign with Gulf collected 140,000 messages from around the world. Now, the team is taking it a step further: giving its design to the car of the future, the one that will enter the new regulatory era.
