Brian Uriarte (UAX SeventyTwo Artbox) is the FIM JuniorGP World Champion, after winning the title in Race 2 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, during a day full of twists and turns in all categories.

JuniorGP™ World Championship

  • La Race 1 It all came down to the wire upon arrival in Barcelona. Jesus Rios (Finetwork XTI Mir Racing Team) snatching victory by just 0,102s from the championship leader Brian Uriarte in second place, tied perfectly with Rico Salmela (Estrella Galicia 0,0), future Tech3 rider. On the line, the last places on the podium were decided by the fastest lap of the riders.

  • Marco Morelli (GRYD – MLav Racing) narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth.

  • French sideEnzo Bellon (CIP Green Power Junior Team), which started 26th after a penalty, climbed back up to 17th place, while Randy Truchot (Team Laglisse) discovered the pace of the category.

  • In Race 2, the crowning moment of Brian Uriarte arrived, allowing him to win the 2025 JuniorGP World Championship by one round, under the guidance of the famous Emilio Alzamora, the former agent of Marc MarquezHe will move to Red Bull KTM Ajo next year, in the world championship.

  • Meanwhile, Marco Morelli won the victory with a 7,125s lead over Brian Uriarte et Joel Esteban (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team), in a race that was interrupted by a red flag on the last lap following a crashAdrian Cruces (Finetwork XTI Mir Racing Team).
  • French sideEnzo Bellon (CIP Green Power Junior Team), starting this time from 16th position on the grid, finished in the same position, Randy Truchot (Team Laglisse) at the 28th.

  • The celebrations are just beginning for #51, who has secured his 8th podium of the season and is already turning his attention to the final in Valencia, in three weeks.


Moto2™ European Championship

  • En Race 1, Unai Orradre (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) climbed from fourth to first place to win and give themselves a match point on Sunday afternoon.

  • Eric Fernandez (Fau55TeyRacing) snatched second place in the final corner ahead of a Alberto Ferrandez (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) unhappy and thus completing the podium.

  • French side, Johan Gimbert (Promoracing), who started 10th, finished in the same position, while Lorenzo Fellon (SF Racing) crossed the finish line in 16th position.

  • When Race 2 of the afternoon, Milan Pawelec (AGR Team) took the victory ahead Eric Fernandez et Alberto Ferrandez, who once again swapped positions in the final corner, repeating the scenario of Race 1.

  • French sideJohan Gimbert (Promoracing) had a solid race before concluding their weekend in 8th position. Lorenzo Fellon (SF Racing) crossed the finish line in 18th position.

  • Unai Orradre needed to finish three points ahead of his closest rivals to secure the title in Barcelona but finished sixth; the battle for the title will therefore continue in Valencia where 25 points are still up for grabs, with four drivers in contention: Unai Orradre, Milan Pawelec, Alberto Ferrandez et Alberto Surra (Andifer American Racing).

 


European Talent Cup

  •  Kiandra Ramadhipa (Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team) secured a stunning victory on the final lap, overtaking Carlos cano (UAX SeventyTwo Artbox) in a new arrival at the photo-finish.

  • Alvaro Lucas (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) completed the podium, with only 0,066s separating the top three.

  • Yaroslav Karpushin had initially finished third but was subsequently disqualified from the results.

  • Fernando Bujosa (AC Racing Team) crashed at turn 7 on lap four, losing crucial championship points.

  • French side, Antoine Nativi (JEG Take Off GP) crashed on the first lap at turn #5. Evan Boxberger (JEG TAKE OFF GP) a few turns later, while David DaCosta (JEG TAKE OFF GP) had to go through the gravel.
  • Remy Sanjuan (Larresport), starting 12th, immediately took the lead of the French commando, and despite 2 Long Laps due to a motorcycle not starting at the right time, fared the best and still scored 2 points by finishing 14th!

  • The ETC title will therefore be decided in Valencia for a final showdown, with the defending champion... Carlos cano now holding an 11-point lead over Fernando Bujosa.
