Moto2 FP3 is now complete in Jerez. This important session allows for race preparation, but also to ensure all settings are in place for qualifying later. This weekend, we should keep an eye on Angel Piqueras (KTM MT Helmets MSi), of course, the championship leader who has already won two races this season. But his title rival José Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) is not to be ruled out, despite his retirement in Qatar. Moreover, the latter completely crushed the first day of competition yesterday, lapping nearly a second faster than his competitors in Practice. Will the domination continue today? We'll find out soon.
Even if you already know the outcome of this session, come and relive it with us! Before we begin, here is a table that summarizes the known facts.

The weather is still beautiful in Jerez. At the start of the session, Adrian fernandez (Honda Leopard Racing) sets an impressive pace, but the favorite Jose Antonio Rueda is not far. Big enough fall for Joel Kelso (KTM Levelup MTA), who must already concentrate on qualifying. Another accident of Vicente Perez (KTM Levelup MTA) brought a lot of gravel back onto the track, so a red flag is raised!

This is reminiscent of the 2 Moto3 P2023, where, if memory serves, the session was interrupted for the same reasons. Strange coincidence. A few minutes later, the pack was unleashed again. On the first flying lap after the break, JAntonio Rueda dares to stick to his rivals by half a secondThis weekend, so far, the domination is total.

Excellent time of Scott Ogden (KTM CIP Green Power), which will still have to go through Q1 for the first time this year. Ruched Moodley (Red Bull KTM Tech3), the South African rookie, is still well placed.

Angel Piqueras, the current championship leader, is not really in the running at the moment. A new fall of Noah Dettwiler (KTM CIP Green Power) causes the appearance of yellow flags.
One minute before the checkered flag is presented, Adrian fernandez achieves the best time. Joel Kelso is second, but anything can still change. But Rueda is not on a good lap, which means Adrian Fernandez should take first place.

Finally, behind Adrian fernandez, Joel Kelso et Jose Antonio Rueda confirm. David munoz (KTM Liqui Moly Intact GP) and Scott Ogden are in fourth and fifth place.
