The Moto3 race has just finished in Valencia! What a spectacle the young guns of the smallest category put on! Adrian Fernandez won the final round of the season with grace. Before the start, it was difficult to pick a favorite, although two riders naturally stood out: Angel Piqueras (KTM MT Helmets MSi) and Maximo Quiles (KTM CFMoto Aspar Team), who were battling for second place in the world championship. Quiles was slightly faster at the start of the weekend before the lights went out, but he wasn't the favorite either. Indeed, the two Honda Leopard Racing riders shone: David Almansa led both Practice and FP1, whileAdrian Fernandez, his teammate, had secured a magnificent pole position.

Excellent start from Maximo Quiles, which directly attacks first place. But Adrian FernandezFrom pole position, he didn't let it get to him and reclaimed what was rightfully his with a very impressive attack. Then, it was the turn of David Almansa to lead, while Scott Ogden (KTM CIP Green Power) fall. In the leading group, Alvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Garlic) acts as a free agent, he is very threatening.
There's a squabble going on among the Leopards! Adrian Fernandez attack Almansa for first place, but this penalizes the latter a lot, who falls to eighth position! Quiles He takes advantage of it and moves into second place. Carp is third.

As is, Quiles would snatch second place in the championship from Angel Piqueras, but nothing is decided. Positions are changing hands, it's close, but it's still Adrian Fernandez in front !
Almansa is in the lead, and has taken a three-tenths advantage over his teammate Adrian Fernandez. David Almansa It's rising slowly but surely.

Fernandez cannot escape, while Taiyo Furusato (Honda Team Asia) rises to the level of the top 3. Quiles is a little wide with 8 laps to go, which allows Furusato to inherit the second position. Adrian fernandez always leads.
With Quiles in 2nd and @AngelPiqueras18 in 8th, the #28 would seal P2 in the standings 👀✅#ValenciaGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/Z3vYXgJznV

Things are heating up, and still no response from Piqueras! Quiles is proving more threatening than ever to victory. Be careful not to underestimate it. Guido Pini (KTM Liqui Moly Intact GP), which is hovering around the top 5 and definitely has the talent to make its mark.

Adrian fernandez He's still leading with three laps to go, he's getting closer to victory. Just one more lap to go, it's on! Fernandez is ahead. Furusato closest Quiles is lying in wait. With Piqueras Seventh, he needs to finish second to secure P2 in the championship. Carp attack Quiles And making him downgrade is terrible!
And ultimately, no one can beat Adrian Fernandez What a dominant victory for the Honda rider! Furusato crosses the finish line in second place ahead Alvaro Carpe, Quiles is only fifth behind Pini !

The problem is that in the last lap, Furusato went through the green section! He therefore loses his second place toAlvaro Carpe and therefore moves into third place. Quiles, fifth in front PiquerasHe cannot take second place in the overall standings from him. Nevertheless, he has had a magnificent season for a rookie, without a doubt.
Thank you for experiencing this Moto3 season with us! See you next year!
