Update on Noah Dettwiler's health
We are pleased to announce that Noah Dettwiler's health has improved so much in recent days that the doctors treating him in Kuala Lumpur have given the green light for his repatriation to Switzerland.
Today, Wednesday, a team from Rega (Swiss Air-Rescue) visited Noah at the hospital in Kuala Lumpur to discuss and plan the details of his medical transport to Switzerland. The flight is scheduled for Thursday, and Noah is expected to land in Zurich late that evening. From there, he will be transferred directly to a hospital where he will undergo the long-awaited leg surgery. This will be followed by the rehabilitation phase.
Noah's family will also be able to begin their return journey from Kuala Lumpur to Switzerland on Thursday evening.
The entire family and team are delighted with this positive development and grateful for the excellent medical care received in Malaysia. Special thanks go to Rega, which made this safe repatriation to Switzerland possible.
