Last year, Johann Zarco and Takumi Takahashi thrilled the legendary Suzuka circuit by winning the prestigious Eight Hours for Honda. In 2025, the dynamic duo will return as part of the factory Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) team to defend their title at the 46th edition, scheduled for August 3. The goal? To give Honda a legendary 31st victory in this iconic race!

After their triumph in 2024, Johann zarco et Takumi Takahashi are preparing to defend their title against the legendary Suzuka 8 Hours, under the colors of the factory team Honda Racing Corporation (HRC). The 46th edition of this legendary race will take place on August 3, 2025, on the famous circuit of Suzuka.

A true jewel of the calendar for endurance racing fans, this event has a very special significance for Japanese manufacturers. Honda, it's not just a race: it's the ultimate goal of the season, and the manufacturer is aiming for nothing less than its 31st victory in the general classification.

French Johann zarco, currently sixth in the championship MotoGP after his brilliant victory at the French Grand Prix at Le Mans, enthusiastically returns to this endurance race where he already shone last year.

At his side, the Japanese veteran Takumi Takahashi, a record six-time winner of the 8 Hours, will bring all his experience and mastery of the circuit. The name of the third driver who will complete the team has not yet been announced by HRC.

The Suzuka 8 Hours, sponsored again this year by Coca-Cola, represent much more than just a round of the FIM EWC Endurance World Championship. For Honda, Yamaha or, Kawasaki, it is a question of national and technological prestige. The circuit of Suzuka, also the scene of numerous MotoGP races in the past, remains a global showcase of Japanese know-how.

Yamaha has already unveiled its own team, including Jack Miller for this third round of the championship, but it's good Honda who starts with the status of favorite, notably thanks to the renewal of the winning duo Zarco-Takahashi.
