The MotoGP rider market is in full swing after the Silverstone race, with new twists and turns shaking up the paddock. Among the most closely watched figures: Pecco Bagnaia, Pedro Acosta, and Enea Bastianini, to which must be added the undeniable Jorge Martin, whose future remains uncertain despite his current contract with Aprilia until 2026.

Pecco Bagnaia is going through a particularly delicate period. His fall in the race Silverstone, coupled with a modest sixth place in the Sprint, adds to a black series which takes him away from the top of the general classification. His adaptation to the Ducati GP25 still seems as laborious. In his own words, the balance of the bike is very different from that of the previous version, despite specifications announced as similar. Gigi Dall'Igna and the engineers are still trying to figure out what's wrongThe bike looks like last year's, but it doesn't react the same. " explains the double world champion Ducati.

In this context, persistent rumors evoke a possible interest of Yamaha , who would welcome the arrival of bagnaia in case of opening. Officially, the Piedmontese pilot remains linked to Ducati until the end of the 2026 season, and claims to want to honor its commitment. But technical and sporting tensions could reshuffle the cards. The rise of fabio quartararo and the progression of M1 could weigh in the balance if the situation does not improve quickly.

Yamaha and Pramac on the offensive in the pilot market

The Iwata manufacturer is not only banking on bagnaia. Yamaha is also preparing the announcement of the recruitment of Toprak Razgatlioglu joins the Pramac team, now powered by the Japanese brand. The official announcement could come as early as Italian Grand Prix. In parallel, if KTM decided to reduce its commitment to MotoGP, Yamaha would be ready to put two additional motorcycles on the grid to strengthen its system.

At KTM, Peter Acosta no longer hides his impatience. The young Spanish prodigy multiplies the messages towards Ducati, with whom he wishes to collaborate as soon as possible. Gigi Dall'Igna is actively seeking a way out to integrate it into a satellite team, and the option VR46 is mentioned. But the contractual context makes any solution complex in the short term.

Enea Bastianini remains at the center of the negotiations. Pramac is closely monitoring the development of his situation, while waiting to know the outcome of the saga George Martin in Aprilia. One Martin were to leave Noale earlier than expected, the situation could quickly change, potentially offering a prime position to bastianini. The market is therefore more open than ever. And at this stage, anything remains possible.
