Barely recovered from a broken left hand, Alex Marquez is preparing to face a new challenge: the demanding Brno circuit. The Gresini rider, second in the MotoGP standings, remains aware of his physical limitations but promises to fight to the end.
« I recovered quite well, but my situation hasn't changed in four days " he confides frankly. Operated on after his fall in the Netherlands, Alex gritted his teeth at Sachsenring, securing an impressive second place despite the pain. But the track of Brno, more fluid and technical, could prove to be even more demanding. I had my medical check-up on Tuesday in Madrid. Everything was in place. the bone has not moved, and that's the most important thing " he specifies, reassuring about his condition... while remaining cautious.
His strategy? The same as in Germany : " try to lose as few points as possible against Pecco and Marc. Minimize the risk and stay on the bike »

Alex Marquez: “ It's going to be a really tough weekend »
The weekend MotoGP looks busy, with new asphalt and tires to test. It's going to be a really tough weekend. We've never ridden here in these conditions. »
And the pain? It's still there. I'm a little worried. At the Sachsenring, I suffered in the changes of direction, and here there are even more. It's a track that's a bit like Mugello: flowing but with more braking »
But there is no question of giving up. Once I'm on the bike, I'll see how I feel. The goal is to do a lot of sessions and give my best at every turn »
Wounded but combative, Alex Marquez tackles Brno as a warrior. His hand may not be at 100%, but his determination certainly is.
