Marc Marquez claimed a resounding and controversial victory in the Sprint Race of the Czech Grand Prix in Brno, round 2025 of the 11 MotoGP World Championship. A triumph marred by tire pressure issues and unexpected twists and turns—but above all, by the eight-time world champion's 12th Sprint victory in XNUMX races.

Leading in the first laps, Marquez experienced a sharp slowdown on lap five, just like his Ducati teammate Pecco Bagnaia did a lap earlier. Both suffered from a sudden drop in tire pressure, but where bagnaia sank to 7th place, Marquez gritted his teeth, staying in the wheel of Peter Acosta (KTM). With one lap to go, he launched a decisive attack, regaining the lead and never letting it go.

Behind the duo Marquez-Acosta, Enea bastianini delivered an impressive performance. Less than a week after being hospitalized for poisoning, the pilot KTM climbed the third step of the podium, giving the Austrian brand a double top 3 in Sprint.
