Davide Brivio

Davide Brivio is a real wizard. A winner with Yamaha and Suzuki, he now repeats with Aprilia, thanks to Raul Fernandez. The director of the American Trackhouse Racing team couldn't be happier after his protégé's victory yesterday. The journey was far from easy for Raul Fernandez, just like Trackhouse, who hadn't made the slightest splash on a Sunday before this Australian Grand Prix since their MotoGP debut last year. Brivio is relieved, proud, happy, and all of these things at the same time.

The Italian spoke to the media GP One following Raul Fernandez's victory in Australia. He also gives him advice on how to continue on this path. « Congratulations to Raul for his work and race managementHe had to manage the tires until the end, and he knew it would be far from easy. I'm very happy to have seen him in this state at the finish. He has great talent, and when we signed him in 2024, our goal was to make him our reference driver, so that Ai Ogura could progress, because he also has great potential.Raul needs to believe in himself, focus on his work, and understand how to operate in a box by giving importance to the right elements." he asserted.

It's also the first victory for Trackhouse Racing, the latest team to enter MotoGP, replacing RNF. Brivio is also proud of this achievement. « We don't have much experience, because we arrived last season.. And we are also independent, even though we have the support of Aprilia. We cannot say that we started from scratch, since we took over RNF, but the owner has changed » he continued.

Davide Brivio is happy to see that the motorcycle project of Trackhouse, a team established in NASCAR, is also succeeding. « We tried to bring our vision to the project in order to compete with other independent teams, as well as factories. Results like this really motivate us. I have to admit that we received a lot of help from Justin Marks, owner of Trackhouse. After five victories in NASCAR, we also had to win in MotoGP. The pressure was palpable, so we are very happy. » he concluded.
