The current dynamic is very interesting. Many journalists and analysts are commenting on Ducati's recent poor form at Silverstone, and this time it's American Dennis Noyes who is taking on the role. In Great Britain, it actually seemed that the Desmosedici GP25 was not at the level of its predecessor, and for the first time this season, Marc Marquez was in difficulty. As it turns out, Pecco Bagnaia isn't the only one feeling this way, and it didn't escape the consultant's attention.
Dennis Noyes, in an interview reported by Motosan, wondered about this question. "Ducati, for the first time, starting to have a problemIt seems that this time they made a mistake, but since the first pre-season tests until now, these phrases from Pecco Bagnaia saying that he does not find the feeling are multiplying. The two-time world champion, known for being very sensitive, has not yet found the necessary confidence in braking or the feeling in the front axle.. He even said he didn't feel the difference between the soft tire and the medium tire. It's difficult for a MotoGP rider. And as the season progresses, Marc begins to agree with Pecco in these statements. In France, he lacked confidence. Now, after the British GP, he says he's starting to notice a lack of feeling at the front." he asserted.

He did not see any real progression between 2024 and 2025 for Marc Marquez or Pecco Bagnaia, while the difference is obvious for Alex Marquez. "On the circuits where we can compare this year with last year, Alex was the driver who improved the most, with about four tenths better. Marc, in the sprints, lost 0,3 seconds and Pecco was two tenths slower than last year" he added.
However, despite Alex's emergence this season, Dennis Noyes believes in the work ethic Ducati has demonstrated over the past few years. Thus, Pecco Bagnaia may yet emerge. « Ducati will continue to work on this bike because they are doomed to do so.. Probably with all the work they are doing, the Ducati GP25 will become equal or better than the GP24. Pecco remains the rival, because he is the rider who developed the Ducati. If he finds the feeling he had last year, he could become a serious candidate again. And Franco Morbidelli may not be dangerous for the championship, but he is on the right track." he concluded with a little bet on "Franky"
