In the cutthroat arena of MotoGP, few figures have been able to observe the rise of the greatest talents so closely. Francesco Guidotti, former boss of Pramac and KTM, has shaped trajectories that are already making history. From Pecco Bagnaia to Pedro Acosta, a sometimes over-eager prodigy, he unfilteredly deciphers the keys to their careers, without forgetting the monumental impact of a certain Marc Marquez.
Two years under the orders of Guidotti in Pramac were enough to reveal a bagnaia meticulous and methodical. His transfer to the official team Ducati in 2021 confirmed what Guidotti sensed: a driver cut out to dominate.
« Pecco has always been slightly superior, with immense potential and a methodical approach to his profession », Analysis Guidotti. A vision reinforced by the contrast with Jack Miller :
« Jack comes from the other side of the world and has a completely different way of doing things. He has performed miracles to remain competitive in our category.. Pecco, on the other hand, comes from a very specific background, both culturally and personally. I always thought: if this guy starts winning, he's not going to stop. And he didn't stop.. »
But today, bagnaia no longer just fights against the clock: he must deal with the crushing shadow of Marc Marquez...
Guidotti don't beat around the bush:
« Marc is a huge asset to Ducati. He has a unique riding style that allows him to adjust better than any other rider. For Ducati, having Marquez has been a huge blessing »
A blessing for the factory, but a headache for bagnaia : " Marc's presence complicates things a little for Pecco »
The Italian champion finds himself facing an opponent who plays on the same machine, but with an almost inhuman talent for adaptation. He must prove that he can stand up to the eight-time world champion... a psychological war as much as a mechanical one.

Francesco Guidotti: “ I think Pedro Acosta lacked a little humility »
Then comes the case Peter Acosta, the raw jewel of MotoGP. Guidotti, admiring but lucid, does not hide his doubts about motorcyclesports:
« He had a solid first year in MotoGP, but I think he lacked a bit of humility. He made a few mistakes, and although he got some podiums, he could easily have had a second place in races where he was leading. These results would have strengthened his confidence.. »
Added to this is an unfavorable context: " This winter, KTM didn't seem to be able to work as efficiently as the others, and it cost them. » But despite everything, Guidotti remains categorical: " I would always bet on this kid »
In the background, the observation of Guidotti is clear: bagnaia is a consistency machine, but he must prove that he can dominate even against Marquez. The same Marquez upset the balance of Ducati, offering MotoGP a rivalry of titans. Peter Acosta, despite his youthful errors, remains a gem that could mark his era.
Under the eye of Guidotti, these trajectories are not just stories of speed: they are the plot of future legends.
