MotoGP Hungary Day 1, Fermin Aldeguer (Ducati/4): “The circuit is dizzying”

Fermin Aldeguer, who finished on the podium in Austria, has lost none of his speed in Hungary, at the brand-new Balaton Park. Since the start of the season, the rookie has only improved, and is now managing to complete formidable comebacks, as was the case at the Red Bull Ring. After having assured that he was perhaps the only one who could beat Marc Marquez in the final moments of a race, the young Spaniard shows that he has lost none of his passion during this Practice.

Aldeguer was still among the fastest, and was also mentioned by Alex Marquez when he was asked to name the most dangerous drivers. « I think it was a good day. Pretty solid. I felt good from the start.We worked on the pace and effort that you always have to put in during practice. The first session didn't go very well for me. I made several mistakes. I had a little problem changing gears. Until I figured it out, it was difficult. Then, we were able to exploit this second tire. For the time, I don't think it's the perfect lap. It was difficult to manage the wind, but the feeling was not bad. » he declared.

 

 

On a brand new track, the fact that he's a rookie is somewhat mitigated, as everyone is new to the track. He quite enjoyed it. “I am very comfortable.
