This weekend in Pecco Bagnaia was frankly worrying. Of course, he had already struggled in some rounds of the 2025 season, as we know he is struggling with his Desmosedici. But just a week ago, he was the one triumphing over the competition at Motegi, in qualifying, in the Sprint, and in the Grand Prix. Seven days later, he fell from last place, losing several seconds per lap, to Somkiat Chantra. Davide Tardozzi, who did not have a great weekend in Indonesia, opens up.
The team director in red has just had what is undoubtedly his worst day in MotoGP, at least for 2025. His world champion Marc Marquez has been injured, quite seriously at that, and could be out until the end of the year. "It was bad luck. He couldn't have avoided the accident." he declared on this subject to the microphones of GP One.

Then came the time to discuss the Bagnaia case, which is currently in a very bad way. In fact, the three-time world champion didn't even appear before the journalists. Tardozzi betrayed the secret. « It's clear he's devastated, even more so as a man than as a pilot.We want to protect him and preserve his emotions. What if he had tears in his eyes? It's inevitable. It's better to leave him alone." he confided.

While Ducati Lenovo Team is now the world champion, Bagnaia's performances continue to disappoint. « We believe in Pecco and we will continue to believe in him.. Going from a weekend where he dominated to a weekend like this… He knows us well, both technically and personally. Gigi and the engineers will have to do a very thorough analysis in Bologna » he concluded.
