Marc Marquez

We all know the passion of Marc Marquez for the race. Naturally, staying home since his crash in the opening moments of the Indonesian Grand Prix must have been difficult for a competitor like him, who must now be itching to get back on the track. However, for the sake of his future career, the doctors have made it clear that this period of rest is essential and cannot be neglected under any circumstances. Marc Marquez would have liked to race in Valencia for testing, but circumstances prevented him from doing so.

This is the anecdote of the day, shared by Marc Marquez himself in a new episode of Ducati Inside. Marquez wanted to participate in the Valencia tests to get back into shape. « I asked if I could take the test, and they told me noThey told me that if I didn't fall, I could do it, but I can't ride my motorcycle without thinking about that." he declared on Crash.net.

In the Ducati garage, they also discussed the bent screw in his arm, which he's had for quite some time now. Indeed, its condition was unrelated to his most recent accident. « Don't worry about the bent screw story. This is something I've had since 2020, before my humerus injury. When I broke my humerus, one screw popped out and the other is now bent. But that's normal » he continued.

Marc Marquez will therefore be back in MotoGP at the beginning of 2026, probably during the crucial Sepang tests. He will have to work hard to try and improve the Ducati Desmosedicibecause the latter has been overtaken by the others in terms of performance.
