Marc Marquez is in the midst of a triumphant run, with a sixth consecutive Sprint victory confirmed at the French Grand Prix. But despite his own success, the factory Ducati rider didn't hesitate to highlight the return to prominence of Fabio Quartararo, his former title rival.

The Frenchman put an end to months of hardship for Yamaha : podium in Jerez, pole position… and poleman again at Le Mans, for the second time in a row. A performance greeted with respect by Marquez : " This is good news for the championship,” he said after the race.

He adds : " First of all, I would like Ducati to maintain its dominance, of course. But for MotoGP, it's good to have different manufacturers on the podium, and to see big names like Fabio – a world champion, a superstar – back in front »

Marc Marquez: “ I'm happy to see Fabio Quartararo back at this level »

The Spaniard knows better than anyone what it represents Quarterly for this sport. Their rivalry in 2020 electrified the paddock, and his return to form could bring some spice to a championship that is sometimes too red Ducati.

During the Sprint, Quarterly offered a strong resistance, leading the race with authority after a blistering start. His first lap was simply exceptional: 0,727s ahead of Marquez's Ducati!

But from the second lap, Marc began to regain ground, finally winning on the 6th lap. Behind, Alex Marquez et Fermin Aldeguer have also exceeded Quarterly, pushing him back to the foot of the podium.

Despite everything, the signal is clear: Yamaha comes back little by little, and Quarterly becomes a protagonist again. At Jerez and Le Mans he was super fast. I'm happy to see him back at that level.. ", concluded Marquez with sincerity.

A strong statement, coming from a multiple champion, and a recognition that speaks volumes: the MotoGP needs fabio quartararo. And Marc Marquez known.
