Pecco Bagnaia is at rock bottom. For the first time since his rookie year (2019), the Italian has failed to score points in four consecutive rounds. It's terrible, and it even allows Pedro Acosta to threaten his fourth position in the overall standings, now that he can no longer challenge for third against a red-hot Marco Bezzecchi – barring a miracle in Valencia. Aware of his weaknesses, the Italian is completely bewildered, not even knowing what to say in such troubled times.

"Go Free," who spoke yesterday following his crash, had a lot to say. He fell while seemingly holding a respectable fourth place, considering his season so far. Worse still, he doesn't see any improvement in his prospects for testing in Valencia. « It is difficult to find something completely different from what we currently haveIt's been a difficult season for us. We'll see on Tuesday after Valencia, during testing. I think we'll find something different in February. I hope my feelings during the tests will be much betterMy problems arise where there is a large change in elevation on the track, like here; That's where I'm wasting the most time right now." he confided for Motosan.

The three-time world champion would love to have a time machine to start from scratch with the GP25. « Honestly, I wouldn't want to start all over again, but perhaps work differently. The period is difficult, but we have worked better in the last two Grands Prix. We must therefore capitalize on that. See you in Valence » he added matter-of-factly.

His setbacks have allowed Bezzecchi, who will likely finish third this season, to return to form, and also Pedro Acosta, currently fifth and three points behind Bagnaia. Pecco is quite frank about this. « Honestly, the other drivers who caught up with me, like Bezzecchi, deserve third place much more than I do."But she will stay in Italy, yes." he concluded.

Do you think Pedro Acosta will manage to finish ahead of Bagnaia in the general classification? Tell us in the comments!
