Having just stepped off his factory Yamaha M1 after finishing third in qualifying for the 2025 Portuguese MotoGP Grand Prix at Portimão, Fabio Quartararo spoke to the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com with the satisfaction of being back at the front and the hope of being able to perform well for the rest of the weekend, as the Yamaha has often experienced a drop in pace during races this season.

🎤 Fabio, you did it again! You had to align everything in a special way to secure the top spot, and that's exactly what you did. The session was tricky; how did you manage it?
Fabio Quartararo: “To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to set that time. During the first session, I didn’t have earplugs, so I wasn’t fully focused, but I did a really good job. I wasn’t expecting to do that, but I think the first few laps are particularly good for us, and that’s what I did. Really happy, hopefully we can find some rhythm, which is what we’re currently lacking.”
