🎤 Alex, a superb weekend after the mistake in qualifying, with a comeback to win the Sprint, then a second place today.
It simply seemed that Marco had a slight advantage today. Why do you think that was the case?
Alex Marquez: "Well, we already saw it this morning: they made a big step forward compared to yesterday. You know, Marco, especially in certain areas, really made a good step forward, and they were better than us. I mean… they were better than us everywhere."
I tried to stay with him, but I saw that I was using the tire way too much, so I thought: “OK, nothing to be done, there’s nothing left to play for.”
We tried to follow him, pushing hard on everything, but in the end, especially the front tire was very worn, it was diving a lot.
So yes, I couldn't do more, but we finished second, so I'm happy with my weekend: a win yesterday, second place today, it's positive, and now we have to look ahead.
