Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati) won the final sprint race of the 2025 MotoGP season on Saturday at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, securing a controlled victory in front of his home crowd. The runner-up in the world championship finished 1,149 seconds ahead of Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), after a solid performance aboard the Desmosedici GP24.
This success marks the third Sprint victory forAlex Marquez this year, the fifth of his career, and brings to 52 the total number of wins Ducati in this format, including 19 in 2025.
The third step of the podium went to Fabio Di Giannantonio, author of another demonstration of speed on the GP25. The Italian, now a specialist in the short format, thus secures his sixth Sprint medal, holding off in the final laps Raul fernandez (Aprilia TrackHouse). By Giannantonio finished 2,637 seconds behind the winner.
Having started from the leading position, Marco Bezzecchi lost five positions at the start before only managing to recover one as the laps progressed. The official Aprilia rider finished in 5th place, ahead of Franco Morbidelli, 6th (Ducati GP24 – VR46), fabio quartararo, 7th (Yamaha).
Behind the Frenchman, Brad Binder (KTM) scores important points, as does Ai Ogura, 9th on the Aprilia TrackHouse.

The latest runner-up finishes in Valence
In 10th position, Johann zarco signs the best result of a Honda today, despite an earlier incident between his teammates. The second round action was indeed marked by contact between Joan mir et Luca marini : Mir lost the front of his RC213V, resulting in an impact that ended the race of his garage neighbor.
Just behind zarco, we find Fermin Aldeguer, 11th on the GP24 Gresini, after being unbalanced by Jack MillerThe Australian – already outspoken towards the stewards in recent weeks – was ordered to give up three positions. Unable to do so on the track, he ultimately received a long lap penalty.
This penultimate round of the season reshuffles some key positions: with its 5th place, Bezzecchi consolidates its 3rd place in the championship. With its 14th place, bagnaia temporarily loses its 4th place to Peter Acosta, impressive 2nd in the Sprint.
