Fermín Aldeguer saw his chances of a good result in the sprint race thwarted by an action from Jack Miller.
Fermín Aldeguer He experienced a dramatic sprint race at the Valencia Grand Prix. The Spanish rider qualified ninth and got off to a good start, gaining a place. Often showing strong race pace, he hoped to climb back into the top five, but his hopes were dashed at the beginning of the third lap.
Jack Miller did indeed make a mistake and hit his arm, which threw him off balance and broke the wings of his Ducati. Miraculously remaining upright, he found himself in 13th place and struggled to climb back up the field, hampered by his bike's lack of aerodynamics. While the Australian was penalized for this action, the Gresini rider believes it didn't change anything about his race, which was already ruined.
Angry with Miller, he nevertheless did not go to see him, considering that "It wasn't necessary."and prefers to focus on his race tomorrow in order to end his season on a high note. “Race Direction reacted quickly. I don’t know if the best time to intervene was today or tomorrow because ultimately my race was already ruined. Nevertheless, I was lucky to stay on track, not to injure my arm during the impact, and to be able to gather information for tomorrow.” did he declare.

“I’m annoyed because I had a good start. Honestly, Jack’s move ruined my race. You risk everything on the first lap to get a good position, and then something like that happens. Obviously, it’s infuriating. But oh well, that’s how it is. There wouldn’t have been many points today, and finishing sixth, seventh, or eleventh doesn’t change much. What bothered me most was the feeling afterwards of not really being able to make up any positions.”
"Tomorrow, I don't expect to be on the podium, even though I would have liked that result." he continued. “I hope to finish in the top 5, fight for the top spots, get a good start and position myself well. Above all, I need to be more competitive in the early laps, which is what let me down today. My race pace wasn't bad, maybe not as fast as the leaders, but enough to fight for a top 5 finish. Tomorrow, I'll try to enjoy this last race and finish on a high note.”
