Pedro Acosta Valencia

Having just stepped off his RC16 for the official KTM factory team after finishing second in the sprint race of the 2025 Valencia MotoGP Grand Prix at the Ricardo Tormo circuit, Pedro Acosta spoke to the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com with the frustration of having once again missed out on his first victory, but still with the satisfaction of being on his fifth consecutive podium.

We report his remarks here without any formatting.

🎤 Pedro, a brilliant performance to be back on the podium here. You attacked a lot to stay with Álex. Where do you think the difference lay today?

Pedro Acosta: “We know my only opportunity was to be super aggressive on the first lap. I didn’t do too badly. Sure, afterwards I struggled a lot to keep the front end from slipping and I ran wide at turn 8, and after that it was like snowboarding. You know, it’s like a football match, when you try to score a penalty, and sometimes it goes in. I’m happy for KTM, they tried to give me the best they could. We’re working pretty well together, also with my personal team, Dani [Pedrosa] is here too, so we’ll try again tomorrow.”
