Marco Bezzecchi made a big splash in Valencia. The Aprilia rider secured the ninth pole position of his MotoGP career, the fifth of his 2025 season, and, most importantly, a new absolute lap record on the Ricardo Tormo circuit: 1'28''809. A masterful performance that confirms the excellent form of the Rimini rider, who also took pole position at Losail the previous week.

The session had nevertheless begun with a warning: a sudden slide of the RS-GP25, a perfectly controlled maneuver. Bezzecchi immediately refocused to complete a perfect lap, giving Aprilia its 14th pole position in the premier class.

Alex Marquez (Gresini Ducati GP24) and Fabio DiGiannantonio (VR46 Ducati GP25) complete the front row in a very tight group: Marquez at +0,026 s, Di Giannantonio at +0,044 s.

The level of this session is unprecedented: the top five are separated by… 0,096 seconds, a record since the introduction of modern timing.

Behind Bezzecchi, the second line consists of: Raul Fernandez (Aprilia TrackHouse), still brilliant with only +0,058 s, Peter Acosta (KTM Factory), restarted with another motorcycle after his crash in FP2, Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), the first Japanese machine on the grid.

In the third row, we find: Franco Morbidelli (VR46 – Ducati GP24), Jack Miller (Pramac Yamaha), Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini – Ducati GP24). The fourth row includes the two Honda official Joan mir et Johann zarcoas well as theAprilia TrackHouse of Ai Ogura.
