Aprilia Racing responded to recent speculation about Jorge Martin's future with a clear press release this Thursday. The Noale-based factory team confirmed that the existing contract with the MotoGP star is fully valid and binding until the end of 2026.
The statement indicates that all obligations under the contract have been properly fulfilled and that the pilot is required to do the same. Aprilia also emphasizes that no discussions on early termination of the contract took place.
In this context, the brand also emphasizes the legal inadmissibility of possible offers from other teams to a contractually bound driver. At the same time, Aprilia continues to bring to Martin all his support during his physical recovery.
The context of this statement is the speculation that Martin considering leaving Aprilia earlier than expected despite his current contract. The MotoGP manufacturer initially remained silent on such reports that emerged nearly two weeks ago. No comment " was the first answer.
The press release ofAprilia leaves no doubt that they insist on compliance with the contract. At the same time, rumors suggest that the two parties could part ways sooner than expected, either by mutual agreement or as a result of a heated legal dispute.

The collaboration between the Spanish and Aprilia began under positive auspices. Martin went from Pramac-Ducati à Aprilia for the 2025 season as the new world champion MotoGP after not getting the place in the factory team of Ducati that he hoped.
