Fabio Di Giannantonio Aragon

Fabio Di Giannantonio was able to test new elements brought by Ducati during the Aragon test, and was satisfied with his role.

Fabio DiGiannantonio ended the Aragon Grand Prix on a dissatisfied note after a weekend of ups and downs. The Italian had managed to right the ship on Saturday but had encountered problems with the front of his Ducati on Sunday. Despite a ninth place and valuable points scored in both races which allowed him to take back fifth place in the championship from Johann Zarco, he showed his desire to move up a gear.

He was counting on the test, which took place the day after the Grand Prix. While he focused on improving his feeling, he also tested new elements brought by Ducati, including a new aerodynamic package and brake discs.

"It was a long day with a big program, but it was positive. I think it went much better than the last test in Jerez. We had new things to try from Ducati, and the idea was also to improve the front-end feeling on this new bike. I can say that we have improved slightly.", did he declare.

He finished the day with the 11th fastest time, a result almost identical to that of the Jerez test, which was held on April 28th and where he finished 10th. Although the ranking is of little significance in tests, By Giannantonio felt that Aragon's had been more positive. Above all, he has the satisfaction of fully participating in the development of Desmosedici.

"I'm happy, we worked exactly as planned, nothing could stop us, and we tried everything we had to. I'm happy with the way I worked with the team, with Ducati, and I'm also happy with my involvement in the development.", he added. "Now we are ready for Mugello, which promises to be exciting."
