Petr Pavel, lthe current president of the The Czech Republic is indeed different. The man here officially took office on March 9, 2023, has been a true motorcycle enthusiast since he learned the ropes on a Jawa 350, a passion he has continued to cultivate ever since, despite his presidential responsibilities.

So, even after his election in March 2023, he took a motorcycle trip to Bavaria, emphasizing the importance of neighborly relations while combining pleasure with official duty. A year later, In May 2024, President Pavel was slightly injured in a low-speed crash with a BMW R1200 GS on a closed circuit! He was hospitalized for observation, but his injuries were not serious, and his official schedule was not affected.
Peter Paul also actively participates in motorcycle-related events. He was seen at the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Prague, a global charity event bringing together motorcyclists to raise awareness of men's health issues. In addition to his passion for motorcycling, he is an avid fan of the Dakar Rally. He attended the 2025 edition in Saudi Arabia, following the event from a media vehicle and staying in the bivouac alongside the competitors. He also photographed the rally, and his photographs were exhibited at the National Technical Museum in March 2025.
