As part of the prestigious Concours d'Elegance of the Villa d'Este on Lake Como, BMW Motorrad unveiled its latest creation for the superbike segment: the BMW Motorrad Concept RR, a symbol of technological performance and design for the future generation of BMW RR models.

Markus Flasch, director of BMW Motorrad: "BMW Motorrad has never offered such an early glimpse of the future generation of RR models. The The BMW Motorrad Concept RR is a true masterpiece of our development team, both technically and stylistically. Inspired by the BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR factory superbike, with which BMW Motorrad factory rider Toprak Razgatlioğlu handily won the FIM Superbike World Championship last year, the Concept RR offers a veritable firework of superlatives, both for the road and the track. The transition from competition to the road has never been so clear. It embodies BMW Motorrad's commitment to offering the highest level of engineering and maximum performance in this segment.

Maximum performance, based on the BMW factory superbike.

BMW Motorrad is committed to motorsport out of passion and conviction, on the circuits of the FIM Superbike World Championship as well as in numerous national and international championships. Every day, the BMW Motorrad team experiences the symbiosis of technical excellence and the unwavering pursuit of peak performance. This commitment is reflected in every detail of the superbikes, and the valuable knowledge acquired in competition is incorporated into production models.

In terms of propulsion, the BMW Motorrad Concept RR relies on the water-cooled inline four-cylinder engine from the FIM Superbike World Champion, which already develops over 230 hp (169 kW). This engine promises an adrenaline rush and strengthens its leading position in the superbike segment. In addition, there are electronic control and regulation systems directly derived from the M 1000 RR WSBK, such as engine management, traction control and engine braking.

New benchmark in lightweight construction and aerodynamics.

Thanks to innovative manufacturing techniques and the use of high-tech materials such as carbon and aluminum, the BMW Motorrad Concept RR sets new standards in lightweight construction. From the frame to the smallest component, every detail is optimized for lightweight, high-performance construction. The design also follows this principle: precise, purposeful, and expressive, with an embossed RR logo on the rear and an illuminated RR symbol on the underside of the aluminum rear.

BMW Motorrad engineers have placed particular emphasis on aerodynamics, particularly to achieve the following ambitious targets: "very high-speed riding stability", "maximum cornering speeds" and "minimal air resistance for optimum top speed". The Concept RR achieves these goals through unprecedented compactness, a reduction in external mountings and increased precision of the airflow, even through the motorcycle, from the ventilated front to the monolithic, ventilated and aerodynamically optimized rear.

In addition, the concept bike is equipped with an aerodynamically optimized fairing with integrated winglets and high-performance brakes, refined without compromise for ambitious super sports use on the road up to professional racing.
