Street: HJC announces an F71 Transformers Bumblebee for spring

HJC, the world leader in motorcycle helmet manufacturing, is proud to unveil its new collaboration with the American firm Hasbro, this time the toy giant behind the Transformers phenomenon. For spring, starting in April, HJC will offer for sale a helmet Bumblebee based on the F71, which pays homage to one of the most iconic characters in the Transformers universe that began in 1984.

For the first time, HJC is delving into the world of Transformers with a helmet never before made. With it, HJC offers motorcyclists not only a protective element but also a unique collector's item. F71 Bumblebee stands out for its striking design, faithful to the image of the famous Transformer. Bumblebee's iconic armor comes to life on the helmet shell, with a combination of vibrant yellow and touches of black and deep gray. On the front, the red symbol of the Autobots is highlighted, instantly recognizable to fans. In addition, the two blue dots placed on the front of the helmet recall Bumblebee's eyes, creating an original visual effect recalling both the robotic form and the vehicle mode of the character.

This uniquely designed helmet truly embodies the spirit of the character in the Transformers universe. Calling all die-hard fans!

A sporty helmet with GT character. Technically, the F71 benefits from a fiber shell with sport-GT characteristics. Its versatility allows it to be used in all applications. In terms of ventilation, there are two front air intakes and three extractors at the rear. The incoming airflow is accelerated by speed as it disperses inside the shell via the channels of HJC's own "ACS" system. This principle is optimized by the architecture of the channels. A new chin bar ventilation has also been added to this model. Under the screen, it allows for air renewal at the screen level and actively contributes to demisting combined with a Pinlock® anti-fog screen. On the main screen side, the F71 is equipped with an improved double locking system for high-speed racing. The field of vision is also wider, offering better peripheral vision to the drivers.

The height and front adjustable sunscreen. Having become essential equipment for the past fifteen years, the sun visor has gradually found its place among a clientele that is firstly Touring, Commuter and then sports. In addition to the rise and fall, it can be adjusted to three forward positions: 0, 5mm and +10mm (closer or further from the face) to adapt to the morphology of each person or to any prescription glasses, which will also benefit from the dedicated grooves so that the arms do not cause any pressure on the biker's temples. The sun visor present on the F71 reflects up to 99% of UV rays.

From a comfort standpoint, the F71 provides the user with consistent helmet support while worn. The EPS foams are multi-density for better absorption of residual shocks. The comfort foams are detachable and washable and covered with a soft-touch antibacterial fabric. The chin guard is part adjustable with Velcro, and grooves make it easier to insert glasses arms. Finally, the F71 is equipped with connectivity for the integration of a SMART HJC communication kit.
