May 7, 2025: Inauguration of the new headquarters of Yamaha Motor Europe, France branch, Argenteuil, 98 bis bd Héloïse

It is with immense pride that the entire Yamaha France team and I welcome you here in Argenteuil to inaugurate the new headquarters of Yamaha Motor Europe, French branch., introduced Gregory Lejosne, general director of Yamaha Motor France.

This day marks an important milestone in our history. Beyond a change of address, this new headquarters embodies our vision, our commitments, and our shared ambition.

We chose Argenteuil not only for its strategic location at the gates of Paris, but also because we identified a dynamic area, a city in transformation, open to the future, which knows how to attract young talent.

This new headquarters is much more… than a modern building
It was designed as a place of meet, of creation and training.
A place where ideas circulate, where talents develop.
There are outboard motors, of the motorcycles, quads, eBikes, accessories, and this in the middle of the offices, because the product proximity is an integral part of Yamaha culture.
It is also and above all a place of life promoting exchange and conviviality with spaces designed for a new approach to living together and the team well-being.

Teams driven by a single priority: proximity to networks made up of more than 400 dealers focused on a single common objective.: the satisfaction of our customers.

This building is much more… than a workplace:

Symbol of Yamaha's roots in France, and of the desire to continue its development by opening a new chapter in its history…

This inauguration also celebrates a double anniversary: the 70th anniversary of Yamaha Motor and the 60th anniversary of Yamaha's establishment in France...

4 dates «hinges»

·                 1965 - 1991=> Sonauto Yamaha (68 to 81 = Levallois / 81 – 92 = Saint-Ouen l'Aumône)
·                 1992 => creation of the Yamaha Motor France subsidiary
·                 2013=> creation of the Yamaha Motor Europe branch in France
·                 2019 => creation of Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation (supporting dealerships in financing their stock and customer financing solutions).

Yamaha Motor France, since 1965, has been a formidable human adventure initiated by its founder, Jean-Claude Olivier.

His commitment and spirit of challenge have forged a corporate culture focused on sporting and commercial performance.

Eric de Seynes, who joined YMF in 1990 before taking over from JCO in 2009 and continuing his commitment to YME in 2013, has perpetuated this corporate culture.

Japan and France share many values : attention to detail, the pursuit of excellence, aesthetics, but also the same vision of corporate social responsibility.

This new building, of almost 4000 m2, represents:

·                 A bridge between our heritage and our future.
·                 A bridge between mechanical tradition and the ongoing electrical and digital revolution.
·                 A bridge between Japan and France.

La fresque of the surrounding wall of this building, created by street artists Suiko and Fate, illustrates these bridges:

The wall is often seen as a separation. This one is a bridge.

The arrows symbolize hope and progress. A dynamic shape emerges from them, inspired by the swallow, a bird considered a symbol of luck and prosperity in Japan.

We believe this project will connect Yamaha to this city, bringing together the diversity of cultures, races and languages, creating opportunities to come together.

The inauguration of Yamaha's new headquarters in France is a new beginning. A promise for the future. A strong signal. We are ready.

To all those who bring Yamaha to life every day, thank you!

Together, let's go further. Let's make the brand shine even brighter.!

Welcome to our new headquarters!

The entire Yamaha France team warmly thanks each of you for your presence and in particular, Mr. Mayor, Georges Mothron as well as the entire municipal team.

Thanks to Olivier Prevost, President of YME, and the entire YME management committee for their confidence in this ambitious project.

A special thought for Vincent Thommeret, former general manager of Yamaha France, who initiated this project in 2021 with Frederic Monjouste, our general secretary, has been the project manager for over three years.

Thanks to the architectural firm Wilmotte, to the building construction teams: GROUP ORIGIN, THEOREIM, ICRProjective, AOBC, Lebrun, Sauer, Moore, Faber, Blackfade.  Not forgetting the collaborators of TT Security, or of Marolo for workshops as well as teams of CERDP who planted the two terraces of 300 m2 each.
