The FIM and Dorna WSBK Organization have officially unveiled the 2026 entry lists for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship (World SBK), the FIM Supersport World Championship (WorldSSP) and the brand new FIM Sportbike World Championship (WorldSPB), with a record total of thirteen manufacturers involved in the three categories.
The new season will begin on 20 February at Phillip Island (Australia) for WorldSBK and WorldSSP, while WorldSPB will begin the March 27 in Portimao (Portugal). Each category will participate in an official test before its respective opening:

February 16–17 at Phillip Island for WorldSBK and WorldSSP

New line-ups and major moves for 2026
Grid World SBK 2026 The series features significant changes, with established contenders switching teams or manufacturers, as well as several newcomers to the category, which now comprises 22 drivers and 14 teams. The championship retains its global character, with drivers representing Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Oceania. 8 nationalities.
The two-time runner-up
Nicholas Bulega
continues with Aruba.it Racing – Ducati, aiming to fight for the title again. He is joined by Iker Lecuona, which comes from Honda.
Alvaro Bautista, third in the 2025 rankings, begins a new chapter with the
Barni Spark Racing Team.
At ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team, a brand new pair of pilots are arriving Danilo Petrucci et Miguel Oliveira, in the team that has won the last two Drivers' titles.

Honda introduces an entirely new lineup: Jake dixon et Somkiat Chantra, both moving up to WorldSBK in 2026.
New recruits in the category include Lorenzo Baldassarri, Alberto Surra et Mattia Ratofurther strengthening an already very competitive grid.

Featuring 33 drivers, 21 teams and 14 nationalities, lthe WorldSSP 2026 season reached a record with nine manufacturers entered, one of the most diverse grids in the history of the championship.
The newcomer
ZX Moto joins the category with an experienced duo:
Valentin Debise et Federico Caricasulo.

The 2025 runner-up Can Öncü joined Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing, the team will win their 11th title in 2025.

The two-time WorldSSP champion Dominique Aegerter (2021, 2022) returns to the category, this time with Kawasaki.

The inaugural season of
FIM Sportbike World Championship (WorldSPB) this six manufacturers :
Aprilia, Kawasaki, Kove, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha, ready to take on the challenge of this new category which includes 33 drivers, 18 teams and 16 nationalities.
The grid combines established winners and young talents, including:

A large contingent of new drivers are also joining the championship, including:

The new category begins with a decidedly international identity, welcoming drivers from Europe, North and South America, as well as Asia.
