This week-end, Toprak Razgatlioglu can seriously claim his third Superbike world title. He arrives in Aragon with 39 points ahead of Nicholas Bulega, and increasing his lead would allow him to control the last two rounds, Estoril and Jerez. His inexperience at Motorland particularly motivates him. Before leaving WorldSBK for MotoGP, he would like to satisfy this "whim", in addition to confirming his world champion title.

Superbike Aragon: Razgatlioglu dreams of tripping up Ducati

The last 31 Superbike races held at Aragón, since 2014, have all been won by two manufacturers: Ducati (20) and Kawasaki (11), making them the most successful in the history of the Spanish circuit. Ducati has triumphed in the last eight consecutive races at Motorland, a winning streak that Toprak Razgatlioglu hope to interrupt.

Speaking of victories, the Turk remains on 12 consecutive victories and is only one victory away from the record (13) that he himself set at the 2024 SBK World Championship. We will see if he can equal, or even improve, his current record. In Aragon, he has achieved 10 podiums since his debut in the flagship category of the production motorcycle championship. In 2024, he returned from his serious injury sustained at Magny-Cours and finished second three times. This year, he is aiming for the top step of the podium.

From SBK to MotoGP, Toprak studies Austin and is amazed!

After his hat-trick of victories in the last round in France, Toprak Razgatlioglu continued his training for the season finale. He did so in Türkiye, his native Türkiye, but also in Jerez, where he participated in the Superbike tests organized on September 16 and 17. Last weekend, he was also the guest alongside Michael van der Mark at DoubleRFest on the COTA (Circuit of the Americas) in Austin , a race he will participate in from 2026, following his move to MotoGP.

On this occasion, Toprak Razgatlioglu rode a production BMW M 1000 RR prepared by Alpha Racing and impressed with a fastest lap in 2:06.79 The record set in the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship is from 2:06.559 and belongs to Cameron Beaubier, who had set it during qualifying in 2024. This year, however, Beaubier (BMW driver) set pole position in 2:07.078 and the fastest lap in Race 2 in 2:07.497. On Instagram, the latter wrote: " Fuck, man, go away! " under the publication of the Turkish pilot. As for the Stock 1000, the record belongs to Ashton Yates (Honda): 2:09.553 established during the 2025 qualifications. Toprak thus proved very fast on a production M 1000 RR, while waiting to return to Austin with the Yamaha M1 MotoGP in 2026.
