Paolo Pavesio, member of the Yamaha Motor Europe management committee: “We were keen to fill the Division Manager role internally, to reflect the same progression philosophy within the business that we apply to our riders. Andrea was not only the most obvious candidate, but also the best qualified for the role. He has enjoyed considerable success since joining Yamaha Motor Europe, leading our various teams to over ten World Championship titles, but the scope of his role has also increased significantly during that time. I am confident in handing the YME Racing division over to Andrea. He will report directly to Marketing and Racing Director Michael van Zomeren and will be supported by the incredibly strong team we have built together over the last few years. I wish Andrea every success in his new role.”

Olivier Provost, President and CEO Yamaha Motor Europe: “I would first like to acknowledge and express my deep appreciation to Paolo Pavesio for his immense contribution as Marketing and Racing Director at YME. He has been instrumental in the restructuring of our Racing business, which has led Yamaha to multiple world titles in WorldSBK, EWC and MXGP. Another important achievement has been the strengthening of the organisation of this division, which now allows us to appoint Andrea Dosoli as YME Racing Director. Andrea’s extensive experience in this field with Yamaha, and his impressive achievements, make him the ideal candidate for this role. I am confident that under his leadership, our Racing division will continue to thrive and reach new heights. I wish Paolo and Andrea the best in their new responsibilities within Yamaha Motor Europe.”
