News is still scarce regarding the aftermath of Valentino Rossi's accident which occurred yesterday during enduro training in Parchiule, near Urbania.

After official confirmation from the Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team of a double tibia/fibula fracture, this morning the Italian press reports a perfectly successful surgical intervention overnight by the Doctor Raffaele Pascarella, head of the orthopedics department at Torrette hospital in Ancona, south of Pesaro, during which the fractures were reduced.

THEannouncement of his transfer to Rimini was in fact a decoy wanted by the family to preserve the private life of the Italian champion… We easily understand it!

No release date from the hospital has yet been announced, nor, obviously, the slightest idea of his return to the track.

What seems certain is that the Yamaha rider will not participate in the Grand Prix in Misano, nor probably in that of Aragon 15 days later, but, even if the quest for the 10th title is not yet already more news, there remains a small chance that Valentino Rossi can participate in the Asian tour which begins on October 15 in Japan.
