Like the WorldSBK two weeks ago, the French FSBK Championship a week ago and the FIM CEV last weekend, the engines fell silent on Sunday evening at the end of the 8 rounds of the All Japan Road Race Championship, the Japanese Superbike championship.
Undisputed winner of the premier category, Kohta Nozane, the Yamaha official who won all the rounds of the series aboard his R1, with the exception of the first race at Suzuka won by his teammate Katsuyuki Nakasuka.
The one who also occasionally officiates for the Iwata firm in Endurance and MotoGP succeeds his very experienced teammate Katsuyuki Nakasuka and precedes Ryuichi Kiyonari (Keihin Honda Dream SI Racing) on his CBR1000RR-R, the surprise coming from the final third place of Hamahara Somichi (Honda Dream RT Sakurai Honda).

In 1000 Superstock, Honda triple with Yuki Takahashi (Japan Post Honda Dream TP) which won by 5 points in front Teppei Nagoshi (MuSASHi RT HARC-PRO) and 19 on Terusuke Sakumoto (Keihin Honda Dream SI Racing).
Let us note that Hiroo Okamoto secured the Supersport 600 title thanks to two victories on his Yamaha R6 and let's move directly to the category Moto3, baptized J-GP3 in Japan, to see that if Ken Ryu Murase (Team KTR) secured the title with the first of a big pack of Honda NSF250Rs, Asahi Komuro (Team AKR) places one of only two KTM RC 250 R in second position.
As in Europe, Japan was impacted by the global health crisis, but the cancellation of the event to take place in Okayama was due to a typhoon, and not to the coronavirus situation.
