Barely alighting from his Honda RC213V, the one we too often tend to forget, Dani Pedrosa, reassured his fans by climbing onto the third step of the podium after speaking to the site's microphone MotoGP.com.
Congratulations Dani for this first podium of the year! You led for a long time before being passed by Marc then Valentino. Did you have a problem with your front tire?
Dani Pedrosa : " Yes. I'm very happy because I led, I had a good start and I was able to have a clear path at the start of the race. At the moment, I'm quite happy with my driving. Right at the end, when I was second, I tried to hold on to that second place but the right side of my front tire was completely destroyed, and I was on the verge of crashing in the right turns. So I tried to save the race. I already crashed in the last race and didn't want to do it again. I'm happy to finish on the podium. I'm a little disappointed with the ending but we took a pretty big step forward and we think we can do that again in the next race. »
