The Grands Prix follow one another and are not the same for Dani Pedrosa. Winner at Misano thanks to a good choice of a soft front tire, it was because of his tires that he was unable to defend his chances in Aragon. But the man with 52 victories clarifies: neither he nor his team are responsible.
While at Ducati we swear to assess Dovi's troubles to assess the share of responsibility of the motorcycle and that of the manufacturer in a notorious poor performance, at Dani Pedrosa, there is no doubt about what caused his misfortune in Aragon: “ I have nothing to reproach myself » commented the crew member vainqueur Marc Márquez. “ From the start of the race, the tires did not function normally. I have a problem with the front and rear. When it's one of the two, we try to compensate in one way or another. But there I was powerless ».
« I tried different mappings, but nothing worked. I ended up with both of my tires completely destroyed. It's really frustrating. There are things we cannot control. The tires did not hold the same as during the tests. I had no rhythm, no sensations. More than strange, it's disappointing. You need to know why. It's disappointing after what we experienced in Misano ».
Dani Pedrosa remains in the fight for the championship with Maverick Vinales for fourth place. The two men are separated by only six points with four Grands Prix remaining.
