It's relatively cool this morning (17°/20°) and the wind is starting to blow, but the sky is still clear and the sun is present.
The Spanish weather forecast still announces a possibility of rain between 14 and 18 p.m., but the probability has now dropped to 50%, and we can therefore hope for a dry MotoGP race.
But the big news is Alex Lowes package, who will not start the race this afternoon; although nothing broken, the British driver is really suffering with his left ankle following a huge crash yesterday in FP3.
His teammate, Espargaro Pol, despite several falls during testing, including one caused by Marc Marquez, will be good at the start, after an emotional farewell to the British driver…

The session begins with the fall of Jorge Lorenzo at very high speed in turn #8 (“Corkscrew” entry); not enough to regain confidence in one's Michelin tires that he accuses relatively often...
Fast crash early on for @ lorenzo99 at turn 8.

Meanwhile, Danilo Petrucci, who suffers from memory loss, is at the top of the provisional ranking. But from mid-session, the pace accelerates under the impetus ofAlex Espargaro then the usual tenors, starting with Marc Marquez, While Jorge Lorenzo can leave with his second motorcycle. This allowed him to regain his bearings with a soft front tire and move from 19th place to 8th, just behind his teammate.
Tito Rabat falls without gravity at turn #2 just before the end of the session while Alex Espargaro, who has just had disagreements with Valentino Rossi on this subject, embarrassment Marc Marquez in a quick turn.
So, he refuses his apology, as we can see in the following video.
