Due to very dense fog on the Aragon circuit and the absence of wind to keep it away, the warm up sessions on Sunday morning were delayed. Jorge Martin was the fastest in the Moto3 warm up ahead of Joan Mir, Aron Canet, Ayumu Sasaki, Gabriel Rodrigo and Marcos Ramirez.

The weather was beautiful on the MotorLand circuit this Sunday morning for the Moto3 warm-up, with a temperature of 15° for the air and 16° for the track. The fog rolled in about five minutes before the session started. The start of the warm up was delayed by ten minutes due to lack of visibility.

The session was stopped at the end of the first lap with a red flag due to insufficient visibility.

In the absence of wind, the fog did not disperse and visibility on the track remained too limited.

The Moto3 warm up session finally started at 10:10 a.m., lasting 10 minutes.

Jaume Masia took the lead at the start of the session in 2'00.717, ahead of the two RBA drivers Juanfran Guevara and Gabriel Rodrigo. Aron Canet accelerated in 2'00.151, 0.2 ahead of Joan Mir.

Joan Mir went under two minutes, in 1'59.649, ahead of Sasaki, Martin and Rodrigo. Jorge Martin improved the World Championship leader's time to 1'59.173. He preceded under the checkered flag Joan Mir, Aron Canet, Ayumu Sasaki, Gabriel Rodrigo and Marcos Ramirez.

The start of the Moto3 race was announced at 11:40 a.m. for 13 laps.
