After a surprise qualification, with a reinvigorated Vinales and Lorenzo alongside a convalescent Rossi setting off from the front row in front of the two championship leaders, will this MotoGP Warm Up be an opportunity to set the record straight? on time for Marc Márquez who still remains the big favorite of this round in Aragon?
The answer will be known in a few moments, at the end of this Warm up reduced to 15 minutes and delayed due to morning fog. The latter finally dissipated by a powerful sun, temperatures are now 20° in the air and 24° on the ground.

At the end of the first thrown round, we find Loris Baz in the lead in front of a Jorge Lorenzo which uses a soft rear tire, just like Andrea Dovizioso et Johann zarco, unlike most pilots who chose a medium.
Marc Márquez is then the first driver to go under 1'50 in 1'49.977.
Hector Barbera, Bradley Smith et Valentino Rossi are positioned behind the Honda driver who lowers the reference time to 1'48.976.
Dani Pedrosa, 13th, returns to his box four minutes from the checkered flag, when Jorge Lorenzo has already fallen back to 20th position.
Three minutes from the end of the session, Marc Marquez has a lead of 6/10 over Miller, Vinales, Aleix Espargaro, Hector Barbera et John Zarco. Valentino Rossi appears in 11th position, Andrea Dovizioso in the 14th and Jorge Lorenzo in 16st.
Except for the fifth beat of Pol Espargaro, the final packaging does not bring upheavals and, in a way, we can say that Márquez set the record straight.
