Marquez will be able to count on the support of his public on a circuit where he won his first podium in the intermediate class last year. The Spanish spectators would undoubtedly be delighted if the former Moto3 World Champion could win in Aragon as he has already done this season in Jerez and Barcelona.

Although he is still not fully recovered from his hip injury since his crash in Misano, Marquez is confident that his physical condition will not be a problem this weekend.

“Aragon will be my third home race and, of course, I would like to repeat my victories in Jerez and Barcelona. But we have to remain realistic, I fell heavily in Misano and even if my physical condition is good, I have not yet fully recovered from my injury. I will have a few days ahead of me to continue my recovery and I hope it will go even better by the first practice session on Friday. We'll see how I'm on the bike, but anyway this will be the last race before we leave for the overseas tour and I think I can do a good job in Aragon. »
