Eighteenth yesterday, Friday, it is finally from sixteenth place that the official Ducati rider Jorge Lorenzo will start for his Argentine Grand Prix. Nearly three seconds behind poleman Marc Márquez against whom he was unable to fight directly since the five-time World Champion did not come out of Q.1. But don't count on Por Fuera to tell you that everything is bad. Imagine that things are even better.

Jorge Lorenzo is so. When he speaks, it happens that he is the only one who understands himself. Because he doesn't hide much. So, it's surprising. When taking stock of his second day in Argentina, apparently as lackluster as the first marked by a disagreement over the tires to use, the Mallorcan surprised by claiming to have put his finger on his problems.

Where did they come from? From the saddle height… “ We found something essential today and it was while making modifications to the ergonomics of the bike that we realized the saddle height was too low. ».

He develops on Motorsport : " When I rode the Ducati for the first time in Valencia, I found the bike too tall compared to my previous machine. So I asked to lower the saddle and it was a mistake. We took the wrong direction and lost months of testing because of it ».

« We changed the position again and took care of the weight on the front to improve the sensations which will allow us to stay closer to the other riders. I was able to do more laps with this new ergonomics, without getting overly tired and I gained more confidence. I can stay more focused on my pace ».

He finishes : " we will have a better second part of the race here than in Qatar. The future looks better. But we were unlucky with the weather today ". See you on Sunday for a new analysis.
