After finishing eighth at the Qatar Grand Prix, third among the Honda drivers, the Australian from the Marc VDS team qualified in seventeenth position on the grid for the Argentine GP at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit . He then placed in the top 10 again for the second time this season.
