The Moto3 Grand Prix category is so competitive, and there are so many contenders for the podium, that it is sometimes tempting to first observe the war between Honda and KTM that reigns there.

In this regard, the Japanese firm scored a big blow during FP3 where 9 Tokyo productions made the top 10, led by an experienced John mcphee (Honda, Petronas Sprinta Racing)!

However, no one seems able to rest on their laurels in this entry category, and it is indeed a representative of KTM, in this case the very young but very fast Jaume Masia (KTM, Bester Capital Dubai), who won in qualifying in front of another driver from Mattighofen, Aron Canet (KTM, Sterilgarda Max Racing Team), proud representative of Max Biaggi.

Will the Austrian machines take their revenge on the victory of Kaito Toba (Honda, Honda Team Asia) in Qatar? Everything remains possible, especially since the track conditions have changed slightly following the rain that fell last night.

Will not participate in this Grand Prix Albert Arenas (KTM, Angel Nieto Team), whose consequences of his cycling accident seem quite serious, replaced by Alex Viu in Argentinian thermal lands. The latter also experienced his first heat by taking off on the motorcycle of Sergio Garcia (Honda, Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) who has just turned 16 and, exactly 11 months after experiencing a very serious accident in Valencia, participated in his first Grand Prix, while the interim had been done by Ryusei Yamanaka in Qatar.

On a dry track but washed by night rain, Sergio Garcia was also the author of a incident during warmup, serious enough to lead Alex Viu to the ground and generate a red flag.

Unfortunately, thehe youngest member of the field was declared unfit to race, suffering from head trauma.

The stage location is called gabriel rodrigo (Honda, Kömmerling Gresini Moto3) and will start from 13th position.

In short, the atmosphere is as electric and hot as the temperatures of 26° in the air and 29° on the ground which reign as the 28 drivers prepare for an Argentine Grand Prix which will include 21 laps on a declared track dried.

Here is the pilots’ tire choice:

When the red lights go out, the poleman Jaume Masia (KTM, Bester Capital Dubai) and Tony Arbolino (Honda, Snipers Team) got off to a good start but it was Aron Canet (KTM, Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) who passes the first corner in the lead.

The 3 men immediately try to escape in front Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda, Leopard Racing) but the task seems difficult and it is a long peloton, led by Niccolo Antonelli, who begins to gauge himself.

Filip Salac (KTM, Redox PruestlGP) falls on his 2nd lap at turn number 13.

On your mind, Aron Canet et Nicolò Antonelli leadership is wrested from each other as the turns go by, but Jaume Masiá (KTM, Bester Capital Dubai) and Ayumu Sasaki (Honda, Petronas Sprinta Racing) come to join the fight, just like the stage local gabriel rodrigo (Honda, Kömmerling Gresini Moto3).

After 5 laps, the latter even took the lead under the cries of the crowd, carrying with him John mcphee (Honda, Petronas Sprinta Racing).

Can Öncü (KTM, Red Bull KTM Ajo) falls without gravity at turn 1, just like Kazuki Masaki (KTM, BOE Skull Rider Mugen Race).

Little by little, the peloton splits into two, with a first group comprising 20 drivers in which we note the superb performance of Darryn binder (KTM, CIP-Green Power) in 2nd position after starting from 20th place.

The driver of Alain Bronec's CIP team even took command halfway through the race, which is a heavy responsibility in the face of incessant attacks from his little comrades...

10 laps from the checkered flag, John mcphee et Alonso lopez (Honda, Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS) hang on and lose any chance of victory.

At the front, as the aspirations and turns progress, the positions change constantly and it seems possible to make the slightest prediction, but with 7 laps remaining, Vicente Perez (KTM, Reale Avintia Academy) who was one of the podium contenders, fell at turn 13. (He will be declared fit later after passing through the medical center).

While waiting for the final outcome, we still note the poor performance of Roman Fenati (Honda, Snipers Team), currently 16th after qualifying 7th.

The drivers must now choose their strategy and know if they want to approach the last lap and the final straight in the lead, at the almost certain risk of being overtaken on the slipstream...

2 laps from the checkered flag, Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Honda, Leopard Racing) tries to escape but is immediately overtaken by Tony Arbolino (Honda, Snipers Team) and Darryn binder (KTM, CIP-Green Power).

The latter starts the last lap in the lead and is overtaken by Lorenzo Dalla Porta at the first turn. The straight line of more than a kilometer allows Gabriel Rodrigo to take command while Darryn binder is really limited when braking and requires Lorenzo Dalla Porta to move away...

In the following turns, Jaume Masia (KTM, Bester Capital Dubai) takes command ahead of the Argentinian rider and Darryn binder (KTM, CIP-Green Power).

We rub, we touch, but it passes with a podium made up of Jaume Masia (KTM, Bester Capital Dubai), Darryn binder (KTM, CIP-Green Power) and Tony Arbolino (Honda, Snipers Team).

Another breathtaking finale! And a revenge from KTM which places 2 machines in the lead… The beauty in Austin in 2 weeks!
