Of the 22 drivers who will take to the track for this 4-minute FP30, only Marc Márquez, Jack Miller, Cal Crutchlow, Maverick Viñales, Danilo Petrucci, Franco Morbidelli, Valentino Rossi, Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Lorenzo and Fabio Quartararo are guaranteed to appear in Q2.

The others will have to go through Q1 and therefore take advantage of this FP4, both to prepare their bike for race pace, but also with a view to a single timed lap to try to catch up. We particularly think of Alex Rins, from which we expected better until now in Argentina, and why not an Aprilia or a KTM…

With 26° in the air and 36° on the ground, the track conditions are satisfactory, even if the sky and the humidity seem to confirm the weather forecasts which anticipate a little rain starting this evening.

Here are the references available as the drivers prepare for this fourth test session:

This time it's Marc Márquez who rushes first in front Jorge Lorenzo when the red lights go out.

With the exception ofAndrea Dovizioso and Joan mir, there is unanimity on the choice of the hard front tire while at the rear, there is greater indecision between medium and soft.

In his first flying lap, Marc Márquez suddenly experiences a technical problem with his chain jumping and prefers to leave the track to join the safety lane with his RC213V. He abandons it against the rails and runs to be taken back to his box on a scooter. This morning, the Honda driver had a problem with his suit's airbag which was triggered by itself during FP3.

Meanwhile, Cal Crutchlow rose to the top of the ranking in 1'39.934. It precedes Francesco Bagnaia et Alex Rins who have hardly impressed so far.

Andrea Dovizioso then achieved the 2nd best time but had to return to his box for an intervention on his GP 19 from which smoke was escaping.

At mid-session, the hierarchy is made up of Cal Crutchlow in 1'39.808, ahead Andrea Dovizioso, Takaaki Nakagami, Valentino Rossi, Jack Miller, Maverick Viñales, Francesco Bagnaia, Álex Rins, Joan Mir and Franco Morbidelli.

With its 2nd motorcycle equipped with a medium rear tire, Marc Marquez quickly enters the top 5 while Jack Miller connects the laps at a very good pace.

8 minutes from the end of the session, Marc Márquez leaves with his first machine equipped with a soft tire at the rear when Valentino Rossi achieves the 4th time.

The Honda driver then lowered the best time to 1'39.341.
