The Termas de Rio Hondo route is not a person's cup of tea. Jorge Lorenzo which also addressed the obstacle in average physical fitness. But the same circuit is one of his Honda's favorites. So why not. Márquez was easy, Crutchlow in the top 5, Nakagami in the top 10. And Por Fuera? Before last…

The slap ! But with a full field that is held in a second, the slightest weakness takes on the air of disaster. Friday in Rio Hondo, Jorge Lorenzo finished at the bottom of the rankings. While Marc Márquez turns out to be a steamroller in race configuration in Argentina, the Majorcan simply struggles to keep up with the same Honda.

« For the moment, I'm trying to go as quickly as possible » he begins. “ But the fact is that I lack experience on the Honda, like in braking or entering the curve. Beyond that, in the afternoon we managed to get a little closer to the lead, but we have to be patient. There is indeed no need to be nervous about the ranking, because times will come when I can be faster. Unfortunately, here in Termas it will be a difficult weekend ».

What’s more, injuries still bother him: “ My wrist hurts, but that's not the main problem. Like I said, I blame it on lack of motorcycle experience. Being half a second from tenth place isn't bad, so I'll have to stay focused for Saturday. I am aware of the potential of the Honda ».

« I expected to suffer on this track, so I have to try to learn the bike better, because I haven't understood it 100% yet. As I said, I don't particularly like this circuit, also because there is no grip and the conditions are not optimal. With good grip, I could actually be ahead, as was the case during FP1 at Losail ».

He finishes : " It will require a lot of patience, of course, I understand the expectation among my fans for this new adventure with Honda. In this regard, I can say that the experience with Ducati made me understand that the results will come. It will be a complicated weekend, like maybe Austin in two weeks, but maybe something will change once we get to Jerez”.
