As with Moto3 and Moto2, this MotoGP Warm Up takes place on a wet track.
The weather conditions are very uncertain and no one really knows if the track will still be wet for the race.

It is therefore a 30-minute session for which we prepared each rider's two motorcycles for this less grippy surface, mainly by fitting grooved tires, steel discs and softening the suspensions. Pilots generally use thicker sliders to take a little less angle.
The air and the track are at 23°.

The first bikes to set off release good sprays of water and show that there is no chance of the trajectories drying out before the end of the session.

Andrea Iannone, Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi spin quickly in the same second, and they are the only ones, but it is the Ducati rider who is visibly the most comfortable in these conditions during the first run. This generally ends with motorcycle change tests, since it is likely that we will see some during the race, depending on the new measures taken by officials.

The second half of the session saw the arrival of the always timely Hector Barbera in the Top 5, but above all that of Dani Pedrosa who demonstrated once again that his past fears of riding in the wet are well forgotten! Unfortunately for Titanium, Andrea Iannone came to blow away this leadership in his final lap, for only 6 thousandths of a second.

Marquez and Rossi complete this Top 5, while we will note the beautiful 10th place for Loris Baz, just ahead of Scott Redding and a certain Jorge Lorenzo.
